Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
People of Hijr rejected the Messengers. 80 We sent them Our Signs, but they persisted in turning away from them. 81 Out of the mountains did they hew (their) edifices, (feeling themselves) secure. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 And that which they were wont to count as gain availed them not. 84 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two but in truth; and the hour is most surely coming, so turn away with kindly forgiveness. 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 We have indeed given you the seven oft-repeated (examples), and the majestic Qur'an. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 and clearly tell the unbelievers: "I am most certainly a plain warner," 89 Like as We sent down on the dividers 90 and who have broken the Scripture into fragments -- 91 By your Lord We shall question them one and all 92 Of what they used to do. 93 Promulgate thou that which thou art commanded, and turn away from the associaters. 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 Those who ascribe another God along with Allah; so they will soon come to know. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 but extol thou thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise Him, and be of those who prostrate themselves [before Him] in adoration, 98 And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e. death). 99

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
