And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 So the scream overcame them at morning. 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 We have indeed given you the seven oft-repeated (examples), and the majestic Qur'an. 87 Stretch not thine eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy; and do not sorrow for them, and lower thy wing unto the believers, 88 and say: "Behold, I am indeed the plain warner [promised by God]! 89 Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators 90 those who had split up their Qur'an into pieces. 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 for what they have done 93 So declare to them what We have enjoined, and turn away from idolaters. 94 Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 We do indeed know how thy heart is distressed at what they say. 97 but extol thou thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise Him, and be of those who prostrate themselves [before Him] in adoration, 98 and worship thy Sustainer till death comes to thee. 99
