The Companions of the Rocky Tract also rejected the messengers: 80 We brought them signs, but they turned away. 81 They were hewing the mountains into houses, therein dwelling securely; 82 Then the shout took hold of them in the early morn. 83 Then availed them not that which they had been earning. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things. 86 (Muhammad), We have given you the seven most repeated (verses) and the great Quran. 87 Do not direct your eyes towards the things We have given to some of their couples to enjoy, and do not at all grieve because of them, and take the Muslims within the folds of your mercy. 88 and say: "Behold, I am indeed the plain warner [promised by God]! 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 [and] who [now] declare this Qur'an to be [a tissue of] falsehoods! 91 By your Lord We shall question them one and all 92 For all their deeds. 93 Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists. 94 We suffice thee against the mockers, 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 We do indeed know how thy heart is distressed at what they say. 97 But hymn the praise of thy Lord, and be of those who make prostration (unto Him). 98 And worship thy Lord until there cometh unto thee the certainty. 99
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
