And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. 80 And though We had given them Our signs they turned away from them. 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 Then the Blast caught them in the morning 83 and whatever they had been earning proved of no avail. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 And indeed We have given you seven verses that are repeated, and the great Qur’an. 87 Do not strain your eyes towards the worldly benefits We have bestowed on some of them, nor grieve on their account. Lower your wing of mercy for the believers 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 Like as We sent down on the dividers 90 and who have broken the Scripture into fragments -- 91 By your Lord, We will question them all 92 About what they used to do. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 We know indeed thy breast is straitened by the things they say. 97 Proclaim thy Lord's praise, and be of those that bow, 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
