People of Hijr rejected the Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our signs, and they remained averse to them. 81 They were hewing the mountains into houses, therein dwelling securely; 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn. 84 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and the Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad SAW), their faults with gracious forgiveness. [This was before the ordainment of Jihad holy fighting in Allah's Cause]. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator and knows (everything). 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 Do not strain your eyes after what We have given certain classes of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and make yourself gentle to the believers. 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 (Of just such wrath) as We sent down on those who divided (Scripture into arbitrary parts),- 90 Those who broke the Word of Allah into several parts. (Those who broke the Torah / Bible or changed its text or those who called the Qur’an a fabrication / poetry.) 91 By your Lord, We will question them all 92 About what they used to do. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 We suffice you against those who mock, 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 but extol thou thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise Him, and be of those who prostrate themselves [before Him] in adoration, 98 And go on worshipping your Lord till the certainty (of death) comes upon you. 99
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Hijjr Valley (Al-Hijjr). Sent down in Mecca after Joseph (Yousuf) before Animals (Al-An 'aam)

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
