And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our communications, but they turned aside from them; 81 They were hewing the mountains into houses, therein dwelling securely; 82 But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning, 83 And all that which they used to earn availed them not. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 AND, INDEED, We have bestowed upon thee seven of the oft repeated [verses,] and [have, thus, laid open before thee] this sublime Qur'an: 87 [so] turn, not thine eyes [longingly] towards the worldly benefits which We have granted unto some of those [that deny the truth]. And neither grieve over those [who refuse to heed thee,] but spread the wings of thy tenderness over the believers, 88 and clearly tell the unbelievers: "I am most certainly a plain warner," 89 even as We had sent warning to those who had divided their religion into fragments; 90 Who have made the Quran into parts. (i.e. believed in a part and disbelieved in the other). 91 So by your Lord, We will surely question them all 92 As to what they did. 93 Preach what you have been commanded to and stay away from the pagans. 94 Indeed We suffice you against these mockers. 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 We know indeed thy breast is straitened by the things they say. 97 So hallow thou the praise of thy Lord, and be thou of the prostrate. 98 and worship thy Sustainer till death comes to thee. 99
