And the dwellers of Al Hijr also belied the Messengers. 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- 82 Then the Blast caught them in the morning 83 And what they earned did not avail them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things. 86 And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 And say: "I am indeed a plain warner." 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 [and] who [now] declare this Qur'an to be [a tissue of] falsehoods! 91 So, by your Lord, We would most certainly question them all, 92 For that which they have been working. 93 Therefore expound openly what thou art commanded, and turn away from those who join false gods with Allah. 94 verily, We shall suffice thee against all who [now] deride [this message - all] 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 Indeed, We know that your breast is straitened at what they say. 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 and worship your Lord until the last moment (of your life) that will most certainly come. 99
