The dwellers in El-Hijr cried lies to the Envoys. 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 And they used to carve dwellings in the hills, without fear. 82 But As-Saihah (torment - awful cry etc.) overtook them in the early morning (of the fourth day of their promised punishment days). 83 So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Lo! (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers. 88 and say: "Behold, I am indeed the plain warner [promised by God]! 89 (Of a punishment) Like the one We sent down upon the dividers. 90 who have broken the Koran into fragments. 91 But, by thy Sustainer! [On the Day of Judgment] We shall indeed call them to account, one and all, 92 As to what they did. 93 Therefore publicly announce what you are commanded, and turn away from the polytheists. 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 And serve thy Lord until there come unto thee the Hour that is Certain. 99
