Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 And we gave them Our revelations, but they were averse to them. 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning, 83 Then availed them not that which they had been earning. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between the two in accordance with the requirements of truth and wisdom. The Hour is surely coming. So overlook [their faults] with gracious forgiveness. 85 For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated, and the mighty Koran. 87 Do not strain your eyes after what We have given certain classes of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and make yourself gentle to the believers. 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 so by your Lord, We will question them all 92 concerning what they have been doing. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 Those who set up another god with Allah; so they shall soon know. 96 We do indeed know how your heart is distressed at what they say. 97 So hallow thou the praise of thy Lord, and be thou of the prostrate. 98 and serve thy Lord, until the Certain comes to thee. 99

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
