The people of Al-Hijr denied Our apostles; 80 And though We had given them Our signs they turned away from them. 81 And they hewed houses in the mountains in security. 82 But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning, 83 and whatever they had been earning proved of no avail. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator and knows (everything). 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated, and the mighty Koran. 87 [so] turn, not thine eyes [longingly] towards the worldly benefits which We have granted unto some of those [that deny the truth]. And neither grieve over those [who refuse to heed thee,] but spread the wings of thy tenderness over the believers, 88 And proclaim, “Indeed I, yes I, am the clear Herald of Warning.” 89 Like as We sent down on the dividers 90 who have broken the Koran into parts, 91 So, by your Lord, We would most certainly question them all, 92 About what they used to do. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Indeed We suffice you against these mockers. 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say; 97 Proclaim thy Lord's praise, and be of those that bow, 98 And keep worshipping your Lord, till death* comes to you. (* The certainty.) 99
