And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 And We brought Our signs unto them, yet they were averting themselves therefrom. 81 And they used to carve dwellings in the hills, without fear. 82 But the shriek seized them at early morning. 83 And all that which they used to earn availed them not. 84 We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, save in truth. Surely the Hour is coming; so pardon thou, with a gracious pardoning. 85 Your Lord is certainly the All-knowing Creator. 86 And indeed We have given you seven verses that are repeated, and the great Qur’an. 87 Do not strain your eyes towards the worldly benefits We have bestowed on some of them, nor grieve on their account. Lower your wing of mercy for the believers 88 Say, "Indeed, I am simply one who warns." 89 even as We had sent warning to those who had divided their religion into fragments; 90 who have broken the Koran into fragments. 91 By the Lord, We will hold them all responsible 92 About what they used to do. 93 So declare to them what We have enjoined, and turn away from idolaters. 94 Surely We suffice to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 and serve thy Lord, until the Certain comes to thee. 99
