People of Hijr rejected the Messengers. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 Out of the mountains did they hew (their) edifices, (feeling themselves) secure. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 And what they earned did not avail them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator. 86 We have given you the seven dual (verses, Al Fatihah) and the Mighty Holy Reading (Koran). 87 Do not strain your eyes after what We have given certain classes of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and make yourself gentle to the believers. 88 And say: "I am indeed a plain warner." 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 And severed their Scripture into fragments. 91 By your Lord, We will question them all 92 about what they did. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Surely We will suffice you against the scoffers 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 We certainly know that their statements sorely grieve you. 97 Exalt with the praise of your Lord and be one of those who prostrate. 98 and worship your Lord until the last moment (of your life) that will most certainly come. 99
