The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ God's help will certainly support (the believers), so pagans do not (seek) to hasten it. God is too Glorious and Exalted to be considered equal to idols. 1 He sendeth down the angels with the Spirit of His command unto whom He will of His bondmen, (saying): Warn mankind that there is no Allah save Me, so keep your duty unto Me. 2 He created the heavens and earth in truth. High is He above what they associate with Him. 3 He created man from a small seed and lo! he is an open contender. 4 He created the cattle from whom you get warm clothing and (other) advantages, and some you eat. 5 In them there is beauty for you when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture. 6 They carry your loads to places which you could otherwise not reach without great hardship, surely, your Lord is compassionate and merciful, 7 He has created horses, mules and donkeys, so that you may ride them, and also so that they may be put on show, and He creates other things beyond your knowledge. 8 Some paths lead away from God but one must follow the path that leads to God. Had God wanted, He could have guided (all to the right path). 9
