The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The commandment of Allah will come to pass, so seek not ye to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate (with Him). 1 He sends down the angels with revelations by His command to whoever of His servants He pleases, saying, "Warn mankind that there is no god save Me, so fear Me." 2 He has created the heavens and the earth for just ends: Far is He above having the partners they ascribe to Him! 3 He has created man from Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge), then behold, this same (man) becomes an open opponent. 4 And He created the cattle for you; you have in them warm clothing and (many) advantages, and of them do you eat. 5 And wherein is beauty for you, when ye bring them home, and when ye take them out to pasture. 6 And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. 7 He created horses, mules and donkeys for riding and for splendour. He created other things too which you do not know. 8 And Allah's is the direction of the way, and some (roads) go not straight. And had He willed He would have led you all aright. 9
