The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Command of Allah will surely come; do not seek to hasten it. Highly exalted is He above that they associate with Him. 1 He sendeth down the angels with the Spirit of His command unto whom He will of His bondmen, (saying): Warn mankind that there is no Allah save Me, so keep your duty unto Me. 2 He created the heavens and the earth in truth; high be He exalted above that they associate With Him! 3 He created man from a small seed and lo! he is an open contender. 4 And He created the cattle for you; you have in them warm clothing and (many) advantages, and of them do you eat. 5 And in them is your elegance, when you bring them home at evening, and when you leave them to graze. 6 They carry your loads to places which you could otherwise not reach without great hardship, surely, your Lord is compassionate and merciful, 7 And horses and mules and asses (hath He created) that ye may ride them, and for ornament. And He createth that which ye know not. 8 And Allah's is the direction of the way, and some (roads) go not straight. And had He willed He would have led you all aright. 9
