The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ God's help will certainly support (the believers), so pagans do not (seek) to hasten it. God is too Glorious and Exalted to be considered equal to idols. 1 He sends down the angels with the Spirit (Gabriel) by His command to those of His worshipers whom He chooses, (saying:) 'Warn, there is no god except Me, therefore fear Me' 2 He created the heavens and the earth with the truth, highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him). 3 Man He created from a drop of semen; and still he becomes an open contender. 4 And the cattle -- He created them for you; in them is warmth, and uses various, and of them you eat, 5 And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture). 6 and they carry your loads to many a place which you would be unable to reach without much hardship. Surely your Lord is Intensely Loving, Most Merciful. 7 And He created horses and mules and asses for you to ride, and also for your adornment. And He creates many things (for you) that you do not even know about. 8 And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. 9
