The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Allah's commandment has come, therefore do not desire to hasten it; glory be to Him, and highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him). 1 He sends down the angels with inspiration of His Command to whom of His slaves He pleases (saying): "Warn mankind that La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so fear Me (by abstaining from sins and evil deeds). 2 He has created the heavens and the earth for a genuine purpose. He is too Exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 3 He created mankind from a sperm drop, yet he is a clear adversary. 4 And He creates cattle: you derive warmth from them, and [various other] uses; and from them you obtain food; 5 In them there is beauty for you when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to regions which you could not reach but with distress of the souls; most surely your Lord is Compassionate, Merciful. 7 And (He made) horses and mules and asses that you might ride upon them and as an ornament; and He creates what you do not know. 8 And upon Allah is the direction of the [right] way, and among the various paths are those deviating. And if He willed, He could have guided you all. 9
