The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it: Glory to Him, and far is He above having the partners they ascribe unto Him! 1 He sends the angels with revelation by His command, to any of His creatures as He please, (saying): "Warn that there is no god but I, so fear Me." 2 He created the heavens and the earth for a true purpose. He is exalted above anything they associate with Him. 3 He created man of a sperm-drop; and, behold, he is a manifest adversary. 4 And the cattle! He hath created them. For you in them there is warmth and other profits and of them ye eat. 5 and you find beauty in them when you drive them home in the evenings and when you take them out to pasture in the mornings. 6 And they transport your loads to a town where you could not reach except utterly exhausted; indeed your Lord is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. 7 And horses, and mules, and asses, for you to ride, and as an adornment; and He creates what you know not. 8 And Allah's is the direction of the way, and some (roads) go not straight. And had He willed He would have led you all aright. 9
