The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. 1 He sends down the angels with the Spirit (Gabriel) by His command to those of His worshipers whom He chooses, (saying:) 'Warn, there is no god except Me, therefore fear Me' 2 He created the heavens and the earth for a true purpose. He is exalted above anything they associate with Him. 3 He created man from a small seed and lo! he is an open contender. 4 And the cattle! He hath created them. For you in them there is warmth and other profits and of them ye eat. 5 And ye have a sense of pride and beauty in them as ye drive them home in the evening, and as ye lead them forth to pasture in the morning. 6 And they bear your loads for you unto a land ye could not reach save with great trouble to yourselves. Lo! your Lord is Full of Pity, Merciful. 7 And He hath created horses and mules and asses that ye may ride there on, and as an adornment; and He createth that which ye know not. 8 And Allah's is the direction of the way, and some (roads) go not straight. And had He willed He would have led you all aright. 9
