The Bee (Al-nahl)
128 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Cave (Al-Kahf) before Noah (Noah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Allah's judgement has (all but) come; do not, then, call for its speedy advent. Holy is He, and far above their associating others with Him in His Divinity. 1 He sends down the angels with inspiration of His Command to whom of His slaves He pleases (saying): "Warn mankind that La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so fear Me (by abstaining from sins and evil deeds). 2 He created the heavens and earth in truth. High is He above what they associate with Him. 3 He created mankind from a sperm drop, yet he is a clear adversary. 4 And the cattle! He hath created them. For you in them there is warmth and other profits and of them ye eat. 5 and you find beauty in them when you drive them home in the evenings and when you take them out to pasture in the mornings. 6 And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. 7 And (He made) horses and mules and asses that you might ride upon them and as an ornament; and He creates what you do not know. 8 The straight way leads to God and there are ways which deviate from the right course. If He so wished, He would guide you all. 9
