The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ The decree of God is at hand, so do not seek to hasten it. Holy is He, and exalted far above what they associate with Him. 1 He sends down the angels with the Spirit (Gabriel) by His command to those of His worshipers whom He chooses, (saying:) 'Warn, there is no god except Me, therefore fear Me' 2 He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all they associate as partners with Him. 3 He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer! 4 And the cattle He created for you. In them, you have warmth and other uses, and of them you eat. 5 In them there is beauty for you when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture. 6 They carry your loads to a land which you could not otherwise reach except by painful toil to oneself. Your Lord is the Clement, the Most Merciful. 7 And [He created] the horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and [as] adornment. And He creates that which you do not know. 8 And upon Allah is the direction of the [right] way, and among the various paths are those deviating. And if He willed, He could have guided you all. 9
