The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Allah's judgement has (all but) come; do not, then, call for its speedy advent. Holy is He, and far above their associating others with Him in His Divinity. 1 He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me." 2 He created the heavens and the earth with truth. Exalted is He above what they associate (with Him)! 3 He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer! 4 And the cattle hath He created, whence ye have warm clothing and uses, and whereof ye eat; 5 And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture). 6 And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. 7 And He hath created horses and mules and asses that ye may ride there on, and as an adornment; and He createth that which ye know not. 8 And [because He is your Creator,] it rests with God alone to show you the right path: yet there is [many a one] who swerves from it. However, had He so willed, He would have guided you all aright. 9
