Hizb 28
< random >
۞ God says: "Do not take to two gods, for there is only one God. So fear Me." 51 His is whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and obedience to Him inevitably pervades the whole universe. Will you, then, hold in awe any other than Allah? 52 Whatsoever the blessings you enjoy are surely from God, and when in trouble you turn to Him in supplication. 53 And afterward, when He hath rid you of the misfortune, behold! a set of you attribute partners to their Lord, 54 So as to deny that which We have given them. Then enjoy life (while ye may), for ye will come to know. 55 They give to unknown images a share out of the sustenance that We gave them. By God, you will be questioned about that which you have falsely invented. 56 And they assign daughters unto Allah! Glorified (and Exalted) be He above all that they associate with Him!. And unto themselves what they desire; 57 When any of them is told about the birth of a female his face turns dark, and he is filled with suppressed anger, 58 He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed. Shall he keep her with dishonour or bury her in the earth? Certainly, evil is their decision. 59 The attribute of evil applies to those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while to God applies the highest attribute, for He is Mighty, the Wise. 60
