۞ God says, "Do not worship two gods. There is only One God. Have fear of Me". 51 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and (all that is in) the earth and Ad-Din Wasiba is His [(i.e. perpetual sincere obedience to Allah is obligatory). None has the right to be worshipped but Allah)]. Will you then fear any other than Allah? 52 And whatever you have of favor - it is from Allah. Then when adversity touches you, to Him you cry for help. 53 yet no sooner does He relieve your distress than some among you set up other partners besides their Lord, 54 So that they be ungrateful for what We have given them; then enjoy yourselves; for soon will you know 55 And they (even) assign, to things they do not know, a portion out of that which We have bestowed for their sustenance! By Allah, ye shall certainly be called to account for your false inventions. 56 They ascribe daughters to Allah exaltations to Him! But they themselves would have what they desire! 57 And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. 58 He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide. 59 [Thus it is that] the attribute of evil applies to all who do not believe in the life to come - whereas unto God applies the attribute of all that is most sublime: for He alone is almighty, truly wise! 60
