۞ Allah hath said: Choose not two gods. There is only One Allah. So of Me, Me only, be in awe. 51 To Him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and on the earth, and obedience is due to Him alone. Will you then fear anyone other than God? 52 And whatever of comfort ye enjoy, it is from Allah. Then, when misfortune reacheth you, unto Him ye cry for help. 53 Then, when He has removed the harm from you, behold! Some of you associate others in worship with their Lord (Allah). 54 that they may show ingratitude for what We gave them. So, take your pleasure, you shall soon know. 55 And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent. 56 And they assign daughters for Allah! - Glory be to Him! - and for themselves (sons,- the issue) they desire! 57 When good news of the birth of a female is given to any of them, his face grows dark and inwardly he chokes. 58 Because of the evil of the good news he hides himself from people, (pondering) whether he will keep her and be humiliated, or trample her into the dust. Evil is their judgement! 59 The attribute of evil applies to those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while to God applies the highest attribute, for He is Mighty, the Wise. 60
