And (remember) the Day when We shall raise up from each nation a witness (their Messenger), then, those who have disbelieved will not be given leave (to put forward excuses), nor will they be allowed (to return to the world) to repent and ask for Allah's Forgiveness (of their sins, etc.). 84 And when those who have done wrong will behold the torment, it will not be lightened unto them, nor will they be respited. 85 And when those who associated partners with Allah see their (Allah's so-called) partners, they will say: "Our Lord! These are our partners whom we used to invoke besides you." But they will throw back their word at them (and say): "Surely! You indeed are liars!" 86 and on that Day they will offer total submission to God: and all that they used to devise will fail them. 87 Those who disbelieve and bar others from the Path of Allah, We shall add punishment upon their punishment because they were corrupting. 88 And the day We shall raise up from every nation a witness against them from amongst them, and We shall bring thee as a witness against those. And We have sent down on thee the Book making clear everything, and as a guidance and a mercy, and as good tidings to those who surrender. 89
