On the day when We will call a witness from every nation, the disbelievers will not be given permission for anything, nor will they be allowed to seek solicitation. 84 There will be no relief for them when the torment approaches the unjust nor will they be given any respite. 85 And when those who associated partners with Allah see their (Allah's so-called) partners, they will say: "Our Lord! These are our partners whom we used to invoke besides you." But they will throw back their word at them (and say): "Surely! You indeed are liars!" 86 And they will offer God surrender that day, and there shall go astray from them that they were forging. 87 Those who disbelieve and bar others from the Path of Allah, We shall add punishment upon their punishment because they were corrupting. 88 And [mention] the Day when We will resurrect among every nation a witness over them from themselves. And We will bring you, [O Muhammad], as a witness over your nation. And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things and as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims. 89
