۞ Allah orders justice, and good deeds, and giving to one's kindred. He forbids indecency, dishonor and insolence. He admonishes you in order that you take heed. 90 And fulfil the covenant of Allah when ye have covenanted, and violate not the oaths after the ratification thereof, and surely ye have appointed Allah a surety over you. Verily Allah knoweth that which ye do. 91 And be not as a woman who breaks her thread, after it is firmly spun, into fibres, by taking your oaths as mere mutual deceit, one nation being more numerous than another nation. God only tries you thereby; and certainly He will make clear to you upon the Day of Resurrection that whereon you were at variance. 92 Had Allah willed He could have made you (all) one nation, but He sendeth whom He will astray and guideth whom He will, and ye will indeed be asked of what ye used to do. 93 And make not your oaths, a means of deception among yourselves, lest a foot may slip after being firmly planted, and you may have to taste the evil (punishment in this world) of having hindered (men) from the Path of Allah (i.e. Belief in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger, Muhammad SAW), and yours will be a great torment (i.e. the Fire of Hell in the Hereafter). 94 And purchase not a small gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant. Verily! What is with Allah is better for you if you did but know. 95 That which you have is transitory, but that which is with Allah endures. We shall reward the patient according to the best of their deeds, 96 And whosoever does a righteous deed, be it male or female, believing, We shall assuredly give him to live a goodly life; and We shall recompense them their wage, according to the best of what they did. 97 When you recite the Koran, seek refuge in Allah from the stoned satan: 98 Verily he hath no authority over those who believe and in their Lord trust 99 he has power only over those who are willing to follow him, and who [thus] ascribe to him a share in God's divinity. 100
