۞ Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition. 90 Fulfil your covenant with God, having made the covenant, and do not break your oaths once you have sworn them, as you have made God a witness over you. Indeed God knows what you do. 91 And be not like a woman who breaks into untwisted strands the yarn which she has spun, after it has become strong. Nor take your oaths to practise deception between yourselves, lest one party should be more numerous than another: for Allah will test you by this; and on the Day of Judgment He will certainly make clear to you (the truth of) that wherein ye disagree. 92 For, had God so willed, He could surely have made you all one single community; however, He lets go astray him that wills [to go astray,] and guides aright him that wills [to be guided]; and you will surely be called to account for all that you ever did! 93 Take not your oaths as mere mutual deceit, lest any foot should slip after it has stood firm, and you should taste evil, for that you barred from the way of God, and lest there should await you a mighty chastisement. 94 Do not sell God's covenant for a paltry price. What is with God is better for you if you only knew. 95 That which is with you is exhausted, and that which is with Allah is lasting. And We will surely recompense those who have been patient their hire for the best of that which they have been working 96 To whoever does good deeds, man or woman, and is a believer, We shall assuredly give a good life; and We will bestow upon them their reward according to the best of their works. 97 So when you recite the Quran, seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Shaitan, 98 he has no authority over the believers who put their trust in their Lord. 99 He has authority over those who are guided by him, and those who ascribe associates to Him (Allah). 100
