And now that We replace one message by another - since God is fully aware of what He bestows from on high, step by step - they [who deny the truth] are wont to say: "Thou but inventest it!" Nay, but most of them do not understand it! 101 Say: The holy Spirit hath delivered it from thy Lord with truth, that it may confirm (the faith of) those who believe, and as guidance and good tidings for those who have surrendered (to Allah). 102 Indeed, We know what they say, "It is only a human being who imparts [all] this to him!" But the tongue of him to whom they point is foreign, whereas this is plain Arabic speech. 103 God will not guide those who do not believe in His miracles. They will suffer a painful punishment. 104 Only those who do not believe in Allah’s signs attribute lies and fabrications; and they themselves are liars. 105 Whoso disbelieves in God, after he has believed -- excepting him who has been compelled, and his heart is still at rest in his belief -- but whosoever's breast is expanded in unbelief, upon them shall rest anger from God, and there awaits them a mighty chastisement; 106 that, because they have preferred the present life over the world to come, and that God guides not the people of the unbelievers. 107 These are the ones whose hearts, ears, and eyes Allah has sealed; and they are the neglectful. 108 So it occurred that they are the losers in the Hereafter. 109 ۞ Then, indeed your Lord, to those who emigrated after they had been compelled [to renounce their religion] and thereafter fought [for the cause of Allah] and were patient - indeed, your Lord, after that, is Forgiving and Merciful 110
