Al-nahl 14 of 16
And whenever We change a verse in place of another verse - and Allah is the Best Knower of that which He revealeth - they say: thou art but a fabricator, Aye! most of them know not. 101 Say: The holy Spirit hath delivered it from thy Lord with truth, that it may confirm (the faith of) those who believe, and as guidance and good tidings for those who have surrendered (to Allah). 102 And We know very well that they say, 'Only a mortal is teaching him.' The speech of him at whom they hint is barbarous; and this is speech Arabic, manifest. 103 Lo! those who disbelieve the revelations of Allah, Allah guideth them not and theirs will be a painful doom. 104 Only those fabricate lies concerning God who do not believe in the signs of God, and these are the liars. 105 Whoso disbelieveth in Allah after his belief - save him who is forced thereto and whose heart is still content with the Faith - but whoso findeth ease in disbelief: On them is wrath from Allah. Theirs will be an awful doom. 106 This is because they have given preference to this life over the life to come and God does not guide disbelieving people. 107 They are the ones upon whose hearts and hearing and eyes Allah has set a seal. They are utterly steeped in heedlessness. 108 without a doubt, in the world to come they will be the losers. 109 ۞ Then indeed your Lord – for those who migrated after they had been oppressed, and then fought and remained patient – indeed your Lord is then, surely, Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. 110

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
