Al-Isra 8 of 12
On the day when We call every nation with their leaders, those whose record of deeds are given to their right hands will read the book and the least wrong will not be done to them. 71 But he who is blind in this life, shall be blind in the Everlasting Life and will be further astray from the Path. 72 And indeed, they were about to tempt you away from that which We revealed to you in order to [make] you invent about Us something else; and then they would have taken you as a friend. 73 If We had not made you stand firm, you would almost have inclined towards them a little. 74 In that case, We would have made you taste a double portion (of punishment) in this life and a double portion (of punishment) after death. And then you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 And surely they purposed to unsettle you from the land that they might expel you from it, and in that case they will not tarry behind you but a little. 76 [That is Our] established way for those We had sent before you of Our messengers; and you will not find in Our way any alteration. 77
