[Mention, O Muhammad], the Day We will call forth every people with their record [of deeds]. Then whoever is given his record in his right hand - those will read their records, and injustice will not be done to them, [even] as much as a thread [inside the date seed]. 71 And whosoever is blind in this world shall be blind in the world to come, and he shall be even further astray from the way. 72 AND behold, they [who have gone astray] endeavour to tempt thee away from all [the truth] with which We have inspired thee, [O Prophet,] with a view to making thee invent something else in Our name - in which case they would surely have made thee their friend! 73 And had We not kept you steadfast, possibly you might have inclined to them just a little. 74 In that case, We should have inflicted a double punishment in this life, and a double punishment after death. Then you would have found no one to help you against Us. 75 Indeed they were near to startling thee from the land, to expel thee from it, and then they would have tarried after thee only a little -- 76 Such was Our way with those whom We sent before you. You shall find no change in Our way. 77
