Al-Isra 8 of 12
On the day when We shall summon all men with their record, whoso is given his book in his right hand - such will read their book and they will not be wronged a shred. 71 Whoso is blind here will be blind in the Hereafter, and yet further from the road. 72 And indeed, they were about to tempt you away from that which We revealed to you in order to [make] you invent about Us something else; and then they would have taken you as a friend. 73 And were it not that We had confirmed thee, thou hadst well-nigh leaned toward them a little. 74 In that case We would have surely made thee taste the double of the tornment of the life and the double of the torment of death, and then thou wouldst not find against Us a helper. 75 And indeed it was close that they frighten you in the land for them to oust you from it – and if it were, they would not have stayed after you, but a little. 76 The tradition of the Noble Messengers We sent before you – and you will not find Our rules changing. 77
