Al-Isra 8 of 12
(Remember) the day when We will call every people with their Imam; then whoever is given his book in his right hand, these shall read their book; and they shall not be dealt with a whit unjustly. 71 But he who is blind in this life, shall be blind in the Everlasting Life and will be further astray from the Path. 72 (Such blind ones) try to confuse what We have revealed to you so that they may falsely ascribe to Us something other than the true revelation and thus establish friendship with you. 73 And had We not given thee strength, thou wouldst nearly have inclined to them a little. 74 whereupon We would have made you taste double (the chastisement) in the world and double (the chastisement) after death, and then you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 And they indeed wished to scare thee from the land that they might drive thee forth from thence, and then they would have stayed (there) but a little after thee. 76 (This was Our) way with the messengers We sent before thee: thou wilt find no change in Our ways. 77
