On the day when We shall summon every group along with its leader; so whoever is given his register in his right hand – these will read their accounts and their rights will not be suppressed even a thread. (* They will be given the full reward.) 71 Whoso is blind here will be blind in the Hereafter, and yet further from the road. 72 Verily, they were about to tempt you away from that which We have revealed (the Quran) unto you (O Muhammad SAW), to fabricate something other than it against Us, and then they would certainly have taken you a friend! 73 And had We not kept you steadfast, possibly you might have inclined to them just a little. 74 And if it were*, We would then have made you taste a double life and a double death – you would then not find any supporter against Us. (* Which is impossible.) 75 Their purpose was to scare thee off the land, in order to expel thee; but in that case they would not have stayed (therein) after thee, except for a little while. 76 Such was Our way with the messengers We sent before you, and you will find no change in Our ways. 77
