BE CONSTANT in [thy] prayer from the time when the sun has passed its zenith till the darkness of night, and [be ever mindful of its] recitation at dawn: for, behold, the recitation [of prayer] at dawn is indeed witnessed [by all that is holy]. 78 And during a part of the night, pray Tahajjud beyond what is incumbent on you; maybe your Lord will raise you to a position of great glory. 79 And say [in thy prayer]: "O my Sustainer! Cause me to enter [upon whatever I may do] in a manner true and sincere, and cause me to leave [it] in a manner true and sincere, and grant me, out of Thy grace, sustaining strength!" 80 And say: 'The truth has come, and falsehood has vanished away; surely falsehood is ever certain to vanish.' 81 And We send down in the Qur’an that which is a cure for the Muslims, and a mercy – and it increases only ruin for the unjust. 82 And when We bestow Our Grace on man (the disbeliever), he turns away and becomes arrogant, far away from the Right Path. And when evil touches him he is in great despair. 83 Say thou: everyone worketh after his disposition, and your Lord is the Best Knower of him who is best guided on the way. 84
