They question you about the spirit. Say: 'The spirit is from the command of my Lord. Except for a little knowledge you have been given nothing' 85 If We pleased, We would certainly take away that which We have revealed to you, then you would find no guardian for you against Us, 86 Except for Mercy from thy Lord: for his bounty is to thee (indeed) great. 87 Say: "If the mankind and the jinns were together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another." 88 And verily We have displayed for mankind in this Qur'an all kind of similitudes, but most of mankind refuse aught save disbelief. 89 And say: "We will not believe you until you make a spring of water gush forth from the earth for us; 90 “Or you have a garden of date-palms and grapes, and you make gushing rivers to flow in it.” 91 Or you should cause the heaven to come down upon us in pieces as you think, or bring Allah and the angels face to face (with us). 92 "Or you have a house of adornable materials (like silver and pure gold, etc.), or you ascend up into the sky, and even then we will put no faith in your ascension until you bring down for us a Book that we would read." Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Glorified (and Exalted) be my Lord (Allah) above all that evil they (polytheists) associate with Him! Am I anything but a man, sent as a Messenger?" 93
