And they ask thee regarding the spirit; say thou: the spirit is by the command of my Lord, and ye have not been vouchsafed of knowledge save a little. 85 And if We please, We should certainly take away that which We have revealed to you, then you would not find for it any protector against Us. 86 But on account of mercy from your Lord-- surely His grace to you is abundant. 87 Say, "If all men and jinn gathered together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce one like it, however much they helped one another." 88 Indeed, We have set forth for mankind in this Koran every kind of parable, yet most people refuse all except disbelief. 89 and so they say: "[O Muhammad,] we shall not believe thee till thou cause a spring to gush forth for us from the earth, 90 or you have a garden of date palms and vines, and cause streams to flow plentifully in the midst of them; 91 or cause the sky to fall into pieces on us - as you believe you can - or bring God and the angels face to face with us, 92 or thou have a house [made] of gold, or thou ascend to heaven - but nay, we would not [even] believe in thy ascension unless thou bring down to us [from heaven] a writing which we [ourselves] could read! Say thou, [O Prophet:] "Limitless in His glory is my Sustainer! Am I, then, aught but a mortal man, an apostle?" 93

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
