And they ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concerning the Ruh (the Spirit); Say: "The Ruh (the Spirit): it is one of the things, the knowledge of which is only with my Lord. And of knowledge, you (mankind) have been given only a little." 85 If We willed, We could take away that We have revealed to thee, then thou wouldst find none thereover to guard thee against Us, 86 except for Mercy from your Lord; for His favor to you is great indeed. 87 Say: 'If mankind and jinn combined together to produce the like of this Koran, they would never be able to produce one like it, not even if they were to help one another' 88 In this Quran, We have set out all kinds of examples for people, yet most of them persist in denying the truth. 89 and so they say: "[O Muhammad,] we shall not believe thee till thou cause a spring to gush forth for us from the earth, 90 Or there be for thee a garden of date-palms and wine, and thou causest in the midst thereof rivers to gush forth. 91 or cause the sky to fall into pieces on us - as you believe you can - or bring God and the angels face to face with us, 92 or, until you possess an ornate house of gold, or ascend into the heavens; and we will not believe in your ascension until you have brought down for us a book which we can read' Say: 'Exaltations to my Lord! Am I anything except a human Messenger' 93
