And assuredly We vouchsafed unto Musa nine manifest signs - ask thou the Children of Israel - so when he came unto them, Fir'awn said unto him, verily I imagine thee, O Musa! enchanted. 101 He replied, "Certainly you have come to know that these have been sent by the Lord of the heavens and the earth as lessons to people. Pharaoh, I believe that you are doomed to perdition. 102 He desired to startle them from the land; and We drowned him and those with him, all together. 103 And We said to the Children of Israel after him: "Dwell in the land, then, when the final and the last promise comes near [i.e. the Day of Resurrection or the descent of Christ ['Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) on the earth]. We shall bring you altogether as mixed crowd (gathered out of various nations). [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 10, Page 338] 104 We sent it (the Quran) in all Truth and in all Truth it came. (Muhammad), We have sent you for no other reason than to be a bearer of glad news and a warner. 105 We have divided the Qur'an into parts that you may recite it to men slowly, with deliberation. That is why We sent it down by degrees. 106 Say: 'Believe in it, or believe not; those who were given the knowledge before it when it is recited to them, fall down upon their faces prostrating, 107 and say: "Glory be to our Lord. Surely the promise of our Lord was bound to be fulfilled." 108 And they fall down on their faces weeping, and this Qur’an increases their humility. (Command of prostration # 4). ۩ 109 Say: "Invoke God, or invoke the Most Gracious: by whichever name you invoke Him, [He is always the One - for] His are all the attributes of perfection. And [pray unto Him; yet] be not too loud in thy prayer nor speak it in too low a voice, but follow a way in-between; 110 And say thou: all praise is unto Allah who hath not taken a son, and whose is no associate in the dominion, nor hath He a protector through weakness, and magnify Him with all magnificence. 111
