And assuredly We vouchsafed unto Musa nine manifest signs - ask thou the Children of Israel - so when he came unto them, Fir'awn said unto him, verily I imagine thee, O Musa! enchanted. 101 Moses said, "Thou knowest well that these things have been sent down by none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth as eye-opening evidence: and I consider thee indeed, O Pharaoh, to be one doomed to destruction!" 102 So he resolved to turn them out of the land (of Egypt). But We drowned him and all who were with him. 103 And We said to the Children of Israel after him: "Dwell in the land, then, when the final and the last promise comes near [i.e. the Day of Resurrection or the descent of Christ ['Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) on the earth]. We shall bring you altogether as mixed crowd (gathered out of various nations). [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 10, Page 338] 104 And with truth We have sent it down and with truth it hath come down; and We have not sent thee but as a bringer of glad tidings and a warner. 105 And We sent down the Qur’an in parts, that you may gradually recite it to the people, and We sent it down slowly in stages. 106 Proclaim, “Whether you accept faith in it or not”; indeed those who received knowledge before the Qur’an came, fall down prostrate on their faces when it is recited to them. 107 And they say: Glory be to our Lord! most surely the promise of our Lord was to be fulfilled. 108 They bow down in prostration and weep and it makes them more humble (before the Lord). ۩ 109 Say: "Call Him Allah or call Him Ar-Rahman; whatever the name you call Him by, all His names are beautiful." Do not say your prayers too loudly or in too low a voice, but follow a middle coarse. 110 And say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has not begotten a son (nor an offspring), and Who has no partner in (His) Dominion, nor He is low to have a Wali (helper, protector or supporter). And magnify Him with all the magnificence, [Allahu-Akbar (Allah is the Most Great)]." 111
