And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 But when at last they came to the land where the two seas met, they forgot their fish and it swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He replied: 'What do you think, I forgot the fish when we were resting on the rock. None but satan made me forget to mention this; it made its way into the sea in a marvelous fashion' 63 Musa said: that is that which we have been seeking. So they turned back upon their footsteps, retracing. 64 There they met one of Our servants who had received blessings and knowledge from Us. 65 Musa said unto him: shall I follow thee that thou mayest teach me of that which thou hast been taught a directive knowledge. 66 He said: verily thou wilt not be able to have with me patience; 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 Moses replied: "You shall find me, if Allah wills, patient; and I shall not disobey you in anything." 69 Said [the sage]: "Well, then, if thou art to follow me, do not question me about aught [that I may do] until I myself give thee an account thereof." 70
