And recall what time Musa said unto his page: I shall not cease until I reach the confluence of the two seas, or I shall go on for ages. 60 When they reached the confluence they forgot the fish (they had brought as food) which swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 And after the two had walked some distance, [Moses] said to his servant: "Bring us our mid-day meal; we have indeed suffered hardship on this [day of] our journey!" 62 He replied: "Sawest thou (what happened) when we betook ourselves to the rock? I did indeed forget (about) the Fish: none but Satan made me forget to tell (you) about it: it took its course through the sea in a marvellous way!" 63 [Moses] exclaimed: "That [was the place] which we were seeking! And the two turned back, retracing their footsetps, 64 and found one of Our worshipers to whom We had given from Our Mercy, and to whom We had taught knowledge of Ours. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 He said: Lo! thou canst not bear with me. 67 And how can you have patience in that of which you have not got a comprehensive knowledge? 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 He said, "Then if you follow me, do not ask me about anything until I make to you about it mention." 70
