And when Moses said unto his servant: I will not give up until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I march on for ages. 60 But when they reached the Junction, they forgot (about) their Fish, which took its course through the sea (straight) as in a tunnel. 61 After they had passed the place, Moses said to his young companion, "Bring us our morning meal; we have indeed been fatigued by this journey." 62 He said: Didst thou see, when we took refuge on the rock, and I forgot the fish - and none but Satan caused me to forget to mention it - it took its way into the waters by a marvel. 63 Musa said: that is that which we have been seeking. So they turned back upon their footsteps, retracing. 64 So they found a bondman* from amongst Our (chosen) bondmen, to whom We had given mercy from Us, and had bestowed the inspired knowledge from Ourselves. (* Hazrat Khidr – peace be upon him.) 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 He said: verily thou wilt not be able to have with me patience; 67 For how can you patiently bear with something you cannot encompass in your knowledge?" 68 Replied [Moses]: "Thou wilt find me patient, if God so wills; and I shall not disobey thee in anything!" 69 He said: If you would follow me, then do not question me about any thing until I myself speak to you about it 70
