And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "I will not give up (travelling) until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travelling." 60 But when they reached the point where the two rivers meet, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, as if through a tunnel. 61 After they had passed the place, Moses said to his young companion, "Bring us our morning meal; we have indeed been fatigued by this journey." 62 He replied, "Did you see when we were resting by the rock, that I forgot the fish? Satan made me forget it, so I did not mention it. It made its way to the sea in a miraculous way!" 63 He said: This is that which we have been seeking. So they retraced their steps again. 64 Then the twain found a bondman from Our bondmen, him We had vouchsafed a mercy from before Us, and him We had taught from Our presence a knowledge. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 (The other) said: "Verily thou wilt not be able to have patience with me!" 67 "And how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?" 68 Musa (Moses) said: "If Allah will, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in aught." 69 He said: Well, if thou go with me, ask me not concerning aught till I myself make mention of it unto thee. 70
