And when Moses said unto his servant: I will not give up until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I march on for ages. 60 But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He said: Did you see when we took refuge on the rock then I forgot the fish, and nothing made me forget to speak of it but the Shaitan, and it took its way into the river; what a wonder! 63 [Moses] said, "That is what we were seeking." So they returned, following their footprints. 64 Then they found one of Our servants unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and We had taught him knowledge proceeding from Us. 65 Musa said unto him: shall I follow thee that thou mayest teach me of that which thou hast been taught a directive knowledge. 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 And how can you have patience in that of which you have not got a comprehensive knowledge? 68 Moses replied: "You shall find me, if Allah wills, patient; and I shall not disobey you in anything." 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70
