And recall what time Musa said unto his page: I shall not cease until I reach the confluence of the two seas, or I shall go on for ages. 60 And when they reached the place where the two seas meet, they forgot about their fish, and it took its way into the sea, making a tunnel. (The dead fish came alive and went into the water.) 61 Moses asked his young companion when they crossed this point, "Bring us our food; the journey has made us tired." 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 Moses said, "That is just what we were looking for." So they went back the way they had come, 64 and found one of Our worshipers to whom We had given from Our Mercy, and to whom We had taught knowledge of Ours. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 How canst thou bear with that whereof thou canst not compass any knowledge? 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 Said he, 'Then if thou followest me, question me not on anything until I myself introduce the mention of it to thee.' 70
