Also recount the story of Abraham in the Book. If you do not desist I will certainly revile you, and leave me for a time. 46 He answered: "Peace be on you. I will seek forgiveness of my Lord for you. He has been gracious to me. 47 Now I will go away from you and that you call upon, other than Allah. I will call on my Lord. Perhaps I shall not be unblessed in calling my Lord' 48 When (Abraham) rejected his people and what they worshipped instead of God, We gave him Isaac and Jacob and made both of them Prophets. 49 We granted them Our blessing and high renown. 50
