Commemorate Moses in the Book. He was a chosen one, both an apostle and a prophet. 51 And We called him from the right side of the Mount, and made him draw near to Us for a talk with him [Musa (Moses)]. 52 And with Our mercy We bestowed upon him his brother Haroon, a Prophet. 53 And mention Ismail in the Book; surely he was truthful in (his) promise, and he was an apostle, a prophet. 54 He bade his people to pray and to give the alms, and he was pleasing to his Lord. 55 Mention in the Book (the Quran) the story of Idris (Enoch); he was a truthful Prophet. 56 And We raised him to a lofty station. 57 These are they unto whom Allah showed favour from among the prophets, of the seed of Adam and of those whom We carried (in the ship) with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel, and from among those whom We guided and chose. When the revelations of the Beneficent were recited unto them, they fell down, adoring and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a generation who neglected their prayers and followed their worldly desires. They will certainly be lost, 59 Except those who repent, believe and do righteousness; for those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged at all. 60 In the gardens of Eden promised by Ar-Rahman to His creatures in the unknown (future). Verily His promise will come to pass. 61 No empty talk will they hear there - nothing but [tidings of] inner soundness and peace; and there will they have their sustenance by day and by night: 62 Such is the Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our slaves who have been Al-Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2). 63 And we (angels) descend not except by the Command of your Lord (O Muhammad SAW). To Him belongs what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between those two, and your Lord is never forgetful, 64 And thy Lord is never forgetful, Lord He of the heavens and earth and all that is between them. So serve Him, and be thou patient in His service; knowest thou any that can be named with His Name? 65
